FYC: Sungai Chilling – 2002

Sometime in 2002, FYC took a leisure trip to Sungai Chilling in Fraser’s Hills.

Sungai Chilling is a waterfall and fish sanctuary at the foothills of Fraser’s Hill, located after the Selangor Dam from Kuala Kubu Bharu close to Sungai Pertak. Managed by the state fisheries department, the river was gazetted as a nature park and fish sanctuary to preserve a local species of mahseer. Access is by a small entrance with an arch along the trunk road to Fraser’s Hill, immediately after the steel bridge. – Fraser Hill Info
